White Rose are a UK charity retailer founded in 2009 by Nottingham Trent university students to support the peace-building work of the Aegis Trust. Aegis are a UK NGO who aims to prevent and resolve conflict and mass atrocities through peace education programmes in communities affected worldwide by identity based prejudice and violence. **How you can help**:
White Rose is a charitable enterprise with a big impact. As a volunteer fundraiser you'll be doing anything from raising donations in the local community, to organising events and building valuable relationships with local businesses and organisations.

Volunteer fundraising is a great way to support the Aegis Trust in their mission to build peace worldwide and prevent genocide. You will be confident and outgoing in your role, fundraising vital funds to support White Rose in generating money for Aegis.

It is also an opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people. Volunteering with us is flexible and can be shaped around your lifestyle and other commitments. As part of our volunteering program we offer a full induction as well as ongoing training opportunities to make sure you feel confident and able to excel in your volunteer role with White Rose.

We’re looking for great communicators, who enjoy meeting people, organising and participating in events and are driven to raise as much funds as possible to support White Rose in funding the peace building work of the Aegis Trust. 

If you have prior fundraising experience or great networks, that’s a great start But don’t worry these are not needed to get involved in this opportunity, being personable, friendly and confident are the perfect attributes for this role.

This opportunity is for just 2-4 hours each week, based around Nottinghamshire, occasionally beyond for particular events.
