**Job Description **for **Fundraising and Communications Coordinator**

**Part time **24 hours per week. £23, 832 pro rata based on 36 hours FTE

**Contract **3 years Subject to funding

**Purpose**: To provide Administrative support and Fundraising support to Refugee
Roots

**Working relationships**: The Charity Director, staff team, trustees, volunteers and funders.

Launched in 2001 as The Rainbow Project, based on the vision of St. Stephen's Church in Hyson

**About the role**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Fundraising and Communications**
**Coordinator **to join our team, developing fundraising opportunities across the Charity and ultimately increasing impact for the Charity.

They will be a key player in the charity’s communications and marketing plan to promote impact and engage new supporters in creative ways.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Identifying pipeline fundraising opportunities
- Developing new donor relationships with corporates and major donors
- Working closely with the Charity Director to identify prospective donors across the Charity

- Maintaining a strong online social media presence to promote fundraising activities
- Increasing the regular donors and donations made through the Charity website
- Working closely with teams across the Charity to understand the impact of charitable services and promote these to supporters
- Adhere to the reporting, monitoring and evaluation responsibilities of funded work
- Lead on the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the impact of funded work

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Have experience in corporate fundraising and donor stewardship

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

Essential Desirable

1.1 Prior experience working 1.2 Professional experience working within an office-based team within a charity fundraising or in a charity, non-profit, NGO communications team or similar organisation.
