We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Compliance Engineer to join our team at NOV UK FLEXIBLES. This role is pivotal in ensuring our Quality Management System (QMS) is consistently maintained and continuously improved in alignment with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. You will ensure compliance with internal policies and customer-specific quality requirements, oversee audits and inspections, and lead structured problem-solving initiatives to resolve quality issues. Your efforts will promote a culture of continual improvement and ensure the organisation maintains high-quality standards and operational efficiency. This position plays a vital role in safeguarding our reputation for excellence and supporting NOV's long-term success.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure all procedures and documentation are controlled, current, and accessible.
- Lead investigations using structured methodologies; implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Partner with production and supply chain teams to address quality deviations and audit findings.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, providing robust evidence and ensuring systemic issues are resolved.
- Manage supplier performance trends and evaluation status against quality benchmarks.
- Deliver quality inductions for new employees and mentor staff on RCA and quality practices.
- Support contract and specification reviews, acting as the quality interface for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive process standardisation across departments, aligning with quality and regulatory expectations
- Track KPIs, analyse trends, and monitor effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
- Contribute quality oversight in new product or process developments, assessing risks and solutions.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field - ensures foundational knowledge and expertise.
- Relevant experience in quality assurance or compliance within a manufacturing or engineering environment - demonstrates ability to perform in a similar role.
- Proficiency in ISO 9001 standards and quality management tools (e.g. RCA, CAPA) - required for daily tasks and project execution.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and customer-specific quality requirements - ensures compliance and operational excellence.
