JOB DESCRIPTIONAbout the RoleAs a Quality Engineer within Flexibles UK, Glenrothes, you will be actively involved in the creation and compilation of client documentation and certification required for outgoing and delivered products. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential to the role. It will be your responsibility to interpret, evaluate, and communicate client documentation and certification requirements clearly and effectively. Create and compile documentation/certification in line with contractual needs, ensuring timely completion. Respond to and resolve client documentation queries through effective interdepartmental coordination. Attend Pre-Production Meetings and communicate action items as needed. Report and assist in resolving non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Liaise with clients and third-party inspectors during facility surveillance visits. Support supplier meetings to address outstanding NCR or documentation issues. Verify traceability of materials and components in the supply chain. Maintain visual management tools and documentation schedules. Participate in daily production meetings and flag potential delivery issues. Conduct internal audits and assist with external supplier audits. Achieve departmental KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to HSE standards and maintain a clean work environment.Qualifications & Skills Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2025 quality systems and documentation.(Essential) Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.(Essential) HND in a relevant engineering or manufacturing qualification or equivalent experience.(Desirable) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.(Desirable) Internal auditing experience.(Desirable) Knowledge of API, ASME, and other industry specifications.(Desirable)Interpersonal Skills Strong sense of customer focus and collaboration. Excellent written communication and negotiation skills. Time management and prioritization abilities. Proactive and results-oriented approach.
