MMP Consultancy currently have an opportunity for a Head of Building Safety Data to join a G15 Housing Association based in Croydon. This will be a permanent role paying £70,000p/a + Benefits. **Role Purpose** This role plays a pivotal role in delivering my clients Building & Fire Safety Transformation Programme, and therefore achieving priority one of our Strategic Plan and the Asset Management Strategy. Responsible for implementing the change and business improvements to data required to ensure adherence to legislation/regulation, with specific reference to the Fire Safety Act and Building Safety Act. Implementing a sector-leading QA & Data Strategy for Asset Compliance that ensures: - All statutory and internal reports are fully supported by data and evidence - All reports have audited lines of defence - Proactively identify risks by using analytical solutions which turn data into insight Responsible for identifying and analysing business requirements, developing solutions alongside critical stakeholders, and implementing them successfully, whilst ensuring the integrity and robustness of our asset compliance data. **Principal Accountabilities**: Working closely with senior colleagues to define and agree specific client-wide building safety data management strategy and objectives. Proactively manage stakeholders, across the business, setting expectations and ensuring the teams are delivering on building safety data requirements. Responsible for managing the creation of regular compliance scorecard which will be reported at all levels up to Board, and ad hoc performance reporting information, this will include, analysing and presenting trends, ensuring auditability of the reportsand comprehensive detailed breakdowns. Continually improve the Compliance Scorecard: - Improving visualisation and access to underlying data - Reducing the effort to compile - Bringing closer to real-time reporting - Enabling real time dashboards for managers\staff Manage the Asset Compliance auditing function, which acts as a second-line of defence by monitoring process outputs for routine survey/risk Continually review data quality and completeness (both provided to and generated by the Asset Compliance Team) ensuring it is, as far as practicable, fit for purpose. This includes all business processes where asset compliance data is supplied or amended.Highlight non-conformities and poor controls through a formal, written reporting process. Lead business value focused definition, prioritisation and implementation of data, business intelligence and analytical projects Provide regular and on demand reports to the Director of Asset Compliance and other forums as necessary. Support and continue to develop as required EVA (Electrical Validation App) and any transition to an alternative system. Power BI report prototypes to bring together relevant data into block compliance reporting and building safety dashboards. Carry out frequent analysis and triangulation to ensure data in all and any system used by Asset Compliance is consistent. Highlight anomalies and see through to resolution. Systems include, but are not limited to: Apex, Orchard, Contractor Systems, Consultantssystems. Collaborate with colleagues in my clients Technology and BI function to ensure our data warehouse is optimised for business intelligence and analytics. Manage and maintain Cognos and other business intelligence reporting tools to support user needs. Develop a "Baseline" data-set for compliance to ensure that all compliance workstreams can be reconciled back to Baseline. Work with other departments to ensure a robust data hierarchy is in place, including the logging of 3rd party liability and responsibility.Consistently monitor the core data against the Baseline and highlight/resolve anomalies Responsible for data harvesting from the fire remediation programme delivery, the creation of building safety cases, DLUHC data returns and other work associated with the Building Safety programme. Supporting the delivery teams by undertaking a strategic role in the forward planning of servicing and certification programmes and providing performance monitoring. Ad hoc programme creation based on policy principles and an understanding of liability responsibilities for various compliance work streams delivered by other teams, provide updates and progress reporting. Translate strategic objectives into annual operational plans and performance measures; manage and monitor performance against these measures to ensure excellent services are delivered.
