1:1 ASD support Teaching Assistant for mainstream Merton Primary School.
Classroom Support are excited to be working with a Mainstream School in the Merton area.
We are recruiting on their behalf for 1:1 Teaching AssistantS for children with Autism.
The school has had a good Ofsted rating in the past two academic years and is a highly rewarding environment in which the impact you have will have will be vital to the child’s development.
There is a highly competitive rate of pay between £80 - £85 per day, for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm for the rest of the academic year at a minimum.
Working days are Monday-Friday term time only.
Requirements of the role are:
- Supporting a child with Autism in a 1:1 setting.
- Using your experience of effective behaviour management, being particularly understanding due to the child’s background history.
- Support the child with relevant resources and daily planning, this includes making them feel comfortable, (Organising their daily belongings) for example, helping the child to integrate with others is also key even though you are mainly working 1:1.
- Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting, and specifically with a child with Autism.
- Additionally, fulfilling any required duties defined by the class teacher.
**Salary**: £80.00-£85.00 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
