Maternity Cover for a period of one year - Full Time

**The Role**

The payroll administrator will work as part of the payroll team to deliver the payroll accurately and on time each month and support the business with payroll reporting and financial reconciliations.

**This is a hybrid role (Reading office - attendance on average three days a week)**

**Responsibilities**

Ensure accurate and timely end to end processing of data within payroll deadlines.
Manage monthly data, review input for compliance with company policies, prior to importing and review exported outputs for accuracy including:
Starters
Leavers
Absences
Salary changes
Benefits and Allowance changes
Childcare vouchers
Pension deductions and refunds
Processing of statutory payments
Overtime submission
Fuel Cards and Business Mileage
Prepare pay related documents and upload to company portal
Generate standard monthly reports as well any one-off reports required by the business
Generate third party reporting
Prepare balance sheet control reconciliations
Respond and resolve queries from employees and management relating to payroll
Documentation and maintenance of Payroll processes
Any other duties to ensure the smooth delivery of payroll services.

**Requirements**:
2+ years of payroll experience
Strong communication and team working skills
Extremely strong attention to detail

**Nice to haves**:
CIPP qualification
Experience of accounting adjustments relevant to payroll
Experience of Part Managed Service. Ideally Payrite Software
Advanced Excel skills
