Treasury Accountant

Knowsley - Hybrid 1-2 days in the office per week

**Description**

Duties and tasks of Finance Business Partner - Treasury Accountant:

- Maintain banking relationships, monitor daily balances and commitments
- Maintain the cash flow forecasting and ensure all appropriate payment controls are in place to move cash
- Cashbook journals and reconciliations
- Risk and compliance and ensure all interest and capital repayments are recorded and made correctly
- Ensure all banking controls in place to protect against fraud
- Proactively drive system efficiency's and improve processes
- Year end financial close and the production of tax notes for external auditors
- Liaise with FBPs for financial planning and funding requirements

**Profile**

Experienced required for Finance Business Partner - Treasury Accountant:

- Processing transactions for treasury, VAT, Tax, banking, finance or cash control
- Ability to analyse large amounts of data on Excel
- Cashbook, journals payments and reconciliations experience
- Ideally you will be CIMA/ ACCA Part Qualified or QBE to this level
