If you strive to #BeTheDifference and want to be at the heart of our change and improvement journey then this could be the perfect job for you.Finance Business PartnerFull Time About the role:Wirral Borough Council is seeking a Finance Business Partner to deliver innovative solution-focused financial management that drives value for money and supports long-term sustainability supporting Adults and Childrens Services.Key duties of the role will include:Partner with Adults and Childrens directorates to provide expert financial adviceDevelop financial strategies aligned with service objectivesProduce accurate reports forecasts and budgetsAnalyse performance and identify risks and opportunitiesSupport business cases and financial modelling for key initiatives Influence decision-making and drive financial best practicesAbout the Candidate:You will hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification/part qualification (e.g. CIPFA ACA ACCA CIMA) or equivalent along with will have a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices and be able to articulate and build effective relations at different operational levels.We are very keen to hear from you if you are a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver with a drive to make a difference.
