**bal Category Lead - Spoolbase Support**

**Job description**:
**Job Scope and Authorities**:

- Develop market knowledge of assigned category, develop and maintain supplier relationships and partnerships.
- Responsible to develop global, regional and/or local sourcing strategies to meet projects requirements
- Negotiate and develop frame agreements in support of the strategy.
- Autonomy in leading a purchase order negotiation in accordance with established company standards and delegation of authorities.
- Coordinate, mentor and advice local/regional buyers to support global sourcing strategy

**Main Accountabilities**:

- Executes comprehensive sub-category strategies ensuring delivery of best-in-class results for assigned category at the global level.
- Leads assigned sourcing projects including identifying and assessing potential new suppliers (local / global), negotiating, establishing, and updating of supplier agreements.
- Ensure compliance of contracts & terms
- Responsible for the successful execution of the assigned tasks in close cooperation with the assigned team of resources.
- Leads Sub-Category Network, ensuring all tactical resources within regional teams, are fully engaged and provides input to category strategy.
- Acts as Champion of the Sourcing Strategy. Constantly communicates the Sourcing Strategy to their stakeholders.
- Supports plans and execution of Local Content.
- Defines capacity distribution and demand for different products / Sub-Category
- Coordinates demand between suppliers, support tactical sourcing in execution issues.
- Secures capacity for critical disciplines or products, at suppliers.
- Serves as an agent of change - driving performance through supply chain development.
- Encourages and stimulates teamwork across all business activities through co-operation, awareness, understanding and personal involvement.
- Establishes budget and Business case for Sourcing initiatives / Projects, and reports progress and status on a monthly basis.
- Requests Technical and QHSE Audits and prepares required documentation.
- Define KPI in collaboration with PPG/SB to monitor the performance and propose any improvement
- Create and issue Frame Agreements with suppliers
- SPOC for all SB commercial matters related to the agreements based on escalation mechanism.
- Support and develop simplification, industrialization and digitalization (trace ability, auto pricing, remote operation,) of suppliers for TechnipFMC operations

**You are meant for this job if**:
**Knowledge/Formal Education**:

- Technical and/or commercial degree minimum at bachelor level. Extensive work experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.

**Experience**:

- Degree or equivalent in commercial/business/supply chain/technical
- Experience in supply chain or other applicable experience
- Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency

**Interpersonal Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage suppliers and internal stakeholders’ relationships
- Proficiency in communication and negotiations
- Strong presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and systematically within own area of responsibility
- Take Ownership, and drive initiatives across stakeholders
- Interested and understand technical dimension of the work
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Passion to work on Digital solutions

**Technical Skills and/or problem-solving Skills**:

- Knowledge of manufacturing process (Welding, FJC, NDT), Fabrication (Pipeline, Spools etc)
- Knowledge of Commercial discussion and negotiations
- Knowledge of Lean Management
