**About the role**

As a Trainee Line Leader at Humdinger, you will report to the Production Supervisor and ensure that the products packed and delivered to our customer are within the correct specifications. This is fast paced, exciting role with guidance and training from our existing team to support in becoming a fully trained Line Leader

**Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 (weekly rotation)**

**Key responsibilities of a Trainee Line Leader**:

- Ensure products are produced as per the Line Standards and meet the standards of our customers as a minimum.
- Monitor and inspect product, staff and equipment at all times.
- Perform all line checks including QAS, checkweigher challenges, monitoring checks and CCP challenges in line with site rules and customer requirements.
- Ensure that the production areas/equipment is maintained in a clean state as required by our site standards.
- Follow a clean as you go policy.
- Accurately record the consumption of all raw materials used on line and as detailed in the work order and ensure that ALL stock is correctly labelled at all times.
- Accurately receipt produced stock into the QAD system and label the stock with the correct label
- Ensure that all products meet our customers specifications and any irregularities are reported as soon as possible to Area Supervisor and/or Technical Department.
- Ensure the safe and accurate operation of the equipment on the line. This includes the setting up of the packaging machinery/materials, labelling equipment, weighing equipment, CCP monitoring equipment and case sealing machinery.
- Ensure outer-case labels are printed correctly and placed on the case as per line standards.
- Ensure you and your team meet the dress requirements and wear the protective clothing supplied in the correct manner at all times.
- To ensure that all staff under your control are aware of the correct dress code and follow it fully.
- To ensure that all activities in your area comply with the company’s Health and Safety policy.

**Skills you’ll need to succeed in our Trainee Line Leader role**:

- Experience within a Production Operative/ Line Leader role within a Manufacturing environment
- Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (or a desire to complete our internal training)
- Allergen Awareness Training (or a desire to complete our internal training)
- Computer literate with the ability complete various forms and documentation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
