Job Overview:
The Funeral Sales and Community Liaison Administrator will play a key role in promoting our funeral services across multiple sites within the Minehead and Bridgwater greater areas. This role is KPI-driven, with clear targets for lead generation, community engagement, and customer satisfaction. The role requires you to build relationships, generate sales leads, and support aftercare services through visits to care homes, community groups, and participation in fairs and events. Additionally, you will provide site cover as needed, ensuring consistent operational support. After-sales follow-up and gathering reviews are integral to enhancing the business’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities:Sales and Lead Generation:
- Generate sales leads through proactive outreach to care homes, care providers, hospices, community groups, and relevant stakeholders across the Minehead and Bridgwater areas.
- Organise and attend community fairs, local events, and networking functions to promote the business and achieve lead generation KPIs.
- Conduct presentations and distribute promotional materials to raise awareness of our funeral services.
- Meet and exceed sales and lead generation targets, ensuring consistent growth across all locations.
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain partnerships with local community organisations, ensuring strong brand presence within both the Minehead and Bridgwater regions.
- Represent the business at community events, exhibitions, and fairs, promoting a positive and professional image.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to support KPI-driven business growth.
After-Sales Support:
- Maintain regular post-service contact with families to provide ongoing support and ensure their satisfaction.
- Collect client feedback and testimonials to continuously improve service quality and meet after-sales engagement targets.
- Actively manage and seek customer reviews to enhance the company’s reputation, contributing to set KPIs for review acquisition.
Multi-Site Operational Support:
- Provide coverage at various locations across Minehead and Bridgwater as required, ensuring operational consistency and adherence to performance targets.
- Assist with administrative tasks across different sites.
Administrative Duties:
- Track and report on sales activities, community engagements, and lead generation performance across multiple locations to meet KPI expectations.
- Manage and maintain an up-to-date records of leads, contacts, and community partnerships.
Prepare reports on sales performance, community outreach, and customer feedback for review against set KPIs.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks that support the business.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, community outreach, or a similar KPI-driven role (funeral industry experience preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and professional approach.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and performance targets.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Empathy and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with tact and professionalism.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet KPIs across different locations.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Full UK Driving Licence
