Administration Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant for Black Rooster Peri Peri, your primary responsibility is to provide efficient administrative support to the team. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the store and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Operations Support:
- Manage the ordering process for stores, including processing orders, tracking inventory, and coordinating deliveries.
- Constant review of product pricing and procurement of new suppliers as and when required.
- Communicate with stores, franchisees and operations team regarding order status, product availability, and any changes or issues that may arise.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of wholesale customer information, including contact details, orders, and pricing.
Administrative Tasks:
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments for the franchise and wholesale team.
- Prepare and distribute relevant documents, reports, and presentations as required.
- Assist with financial tasks, such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining financial records.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and filing systems for the supply chain, warehouse operations.
- Organise and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Coordinate and facilitate effective communication between the stores and warehouse team and other departments or external partners.
- Collaborate with team members to support various projects, initiatives, and campaigns as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in the foodservice industry or a QSR franchise environment is advantageous but not required.
