About the role
- This is a full-time role, and you’ll work an average of**_ 40 hours a week 07.00 - 15.00 Monday To Friday. Flexibility will be required to change shifts to work weekends if there is a business need._**
- The base location for this role is**_ Leeds_**
What you'll do
This friendly and supportive Site Engineering team is led by the Engineering Manager who will be on hand to guide and advise you through your Engineering career at Greggs.
Our food manufacturing/production sites use automated and semi-automated lines to produce great products as efficiently as possible.
As part of your Role you will be responsible for;
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
- Supporting the Maintenance Manager in the organisation of work for the engineering team.
- Maintain and Audit of CMMS System, Agility Owner.
- Parts, consumable orders and processing.
- Work order scheduling.
- Planning with production and hygiene availability for PPM works and ensure hand over of the machinery for cleaning, before and after works.
- Gate keeping Work order Requests before allocation to Engineers.
- Ensure scheduled work orders are carried out in a timely manner.
- Stores Ownership, ensuring the areas are neat tidy. Re-order critical spares and low stock as required. Carry out spot checks to ensure checks are carried out and standard remains.
- On site Contractor Management.
- Engineering Team support.
You will help in delivering maintenance excellence in a planned preventive way. You’ll work collaboratively within and across the site teams, including with the Maintenance Manager, Team Members and other departments.
About you
You'll fit right in at Greggs as a Maintenance Planner if you can demonstrate:
- You will ideally have worked within the food or FMCG sectors
- Engineering Background Preferred but not essential.
- You’re experienced with Microsoft 360 packages, SAP systems and are familiar with CMMS (or other), Agility experience would be advantageous
- You’re comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people, and you have the confidence to respond positively when under pressure
- You can show us that you’re able to comply with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards, which are very important us here at Greggs
