**Job Description**:
We are looking for another Senior Budget Controller to join our team. You will be required to perform many varied tasks both accurately and in a timely manner. The following responsibilities cover various specific deliverables of day to day, month end and reporting tasks that will need to be performed. This list is not exhaustive and additional projects or tasks may be requested by mutual agreement.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Helping to manage the Budget Control team (based on and off-shore), overseeing the team, managing performance and resource.
- Reviewing and approving WIP adjustments in Altair, submitted by the Budget team.
- Managing month end reporting for WIP and open jobs, consolidating reports and ensuring balances have clear commentary and actions defined.
- Working with the Budget team to correctly report costs for Agent and Principal clients, under IFRS15. Ensuring the correct mapping of costs to the correct ledger accounts before month end.
- Working with Agency budget controllers to ensure POs and relevant approvals are received, escalated and purchase orders are invoiced.
- Being the key contact for agency Budget controllers, requesting and distributing open PO lists and ensuring these are communicating effectively with departments ahead of billing closure deadlines.
- Reviewing final job cost reports with Budget controllers for key clients and material productions.
- Managing the annual client schedules for retainers, client fiscals and client audit requirements.
- Working closely with the Revenue Controller on key tasks such as correct client set up for new client wins, reducing aged accruals and debtors.
- Supporting Heads of Department and providing finance and system training to producers.
- Supporting management by carrying out key tasks on projects to improve ways of working.
- Assist in client Audits, internal and stat audits.
- Ad hoc client reporting as required by Management.
