The candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support on all aspects of service charge budgeting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and best practice across a portfolio of properties. This role will involve a deep understanding of relevant legislation, lease structures, and accounting principles, and will be crucial in ensuring the financial sustainability and operational efficiency of our managed properties.Key ResponsibilitiesGovern and troubleshoot through the budget processFacilitate the coordination of making supplier data availableEnforcing the use of PO’s and challenging ad hoc coding in budgetsMonitoring and chasing client approvalsMonitoring and chasing apportionment issues during budget periodReview and obtain approval of service charge budgets, alongside on-site facilities teamsMonitor the approval of service charge year end reconciliations in accordance with RICS guidelines / client instructionEnsure SOPs are in place for all tasks, driving efficiency and consistencyMaintaining in-house database/spreadsheets/trackersAd hoc duties as and when they arisePerson Specification/RequirementsPreferably RICS qualifiedStrong administrative skillsStrong interpersonal skillsGood organisational skillsExperience with relevant accounting software and workflow systems (e.g., Tramps, Yardi, K2, eMOS, etc.).Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with key business stakeholdersGood problem-solving skills.Good MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OutlookTask oriented and self-motivated, with ability to prioritise issuesAccurate and exceptional attention to detailBuild and maintain relationships with other parts of the wider CBRE service linesAbility to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are metMaintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks and workloadAbout CBRE Group, Inc.CBRE Group, Inc.
