Practice Plus Group are pleased to announce that they will be taking over the healthcare contract at HMP Garth, a Category B prison in Lancashire from 1st April 2025.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Administrator to join our team there from April. The prison houses around 1500 men with a variety of health needs and within this role, you’ll be an integral part of the healthcare team. Within this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.

**Salary**

This is a bank role paying £13.25 per hour.

**What you'll be doing**:
As an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning etc.

Qualifications required
- English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
