Set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District, the Bakewell Old House Museum is a Tudor dwelling. After nearly five hundred years of continuous use, it now plays host to a wide range of artefacts telling the story of the Peak District and beyond.

As a Buildings Maintenance volunteer you will be to co-ordinate small maintenance projects or helping with DIY tasks around the museum. We have a Full Condition Survey conducted every 5 years.

You shall be
- helping to manage small projects of tasks around the museum, including obtaining quotes

and / or
- using your DIY skills to help with odd jobs
- assisting us with tasks such as window cleaning

The role would suit someone who
- is able to manage projects or do small DIY tasks
- wants to help an independent charity in Bakewell
