Would you like to play a vital role in ensuring our visitors receive a warm welcome and professionally managed experience at Chatsworth?

As Visitor Experience Supervisor, you will provide support to the Assistant Visitor Experience Manager by providing day-to-day supervision of the Visitor Experience Assistants, Guides and Volunteers, this will include assisting in inductions, coaching and mentoring to ensure the team are able to effectively deliver their daily activities and deliver our excellent levels of visitor experience and engagement.

You should be a natural leader and have a people focused approach to enable you to deal with any situation in a calm and professional manner. You will undertake annual performance reviews, hold ongoing development discussions, and deal effectively with any employee relations matters as required by the Assistant Visitor Experience Manager.

With your interest and knowledge of Chatsworth and the Collections, you will have the ability to impart that knowledge to staff and visitors in an engaging, friendly and warm manner.

You will have strong IT skills with the ability to understand and manage the ticketing system and time & attendance systems as you will support the devising, maintenance and review of rosters in line with agreed budgets and proactively respond to fluctuations in visitor numbers ensuring that the necessary cover is provided at all times.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day between 8am and 6pm, 5 days out of 7 including regular weekends and evening work on a rota basis. Flexibility is required in order to meet the needs of the business.
