**Job Description**:
To succeed in this role you'll need to show adaptability in dealing with ambiguity and demonstrate great problem-solving skills.
10%-65% travel is expected in this position depending on the sales coverage model, you'll attend key events such as Sales Kick-Off, trade shows and conferences throughout the year.
Job Responsibilities
- Executes Solution Consulting/Sales Methodology.
- Uncover, elevate, quantify, and confirm customers’ critical business issues.
- Proactively prepare appropriate data and reports for sales events.
- Provide customised technical solution demonstrations which link Advent’s value back to the CBI’s.
- Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Effectively demonstrate and communicate the differentiating value of our solutions and properly set expectations concerning implementation timeframes and resources.
- Respond to RFI/RFPs and security and IT-related questionnaires.
- Participate in demand creation events (seminars, trade shows, conferences, etc).
- Develop knowledge gained from customers back to the business management and product management groups.
- Proactively maintain a high level of product/solution knowledge, as well as, applicable technology and information security changes.
- Deliver high-quality documentation of recommended solutions and architecture diagrams to clients and internal stakeholders.
**Requirements**:
- We seek Advent product knowledge or consulting experience on asset management solutions with an understanding of Implementation Methodology.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: financial technology consulting, support or sales engineering, cloud-based deployments, High Availability/Disaster Recovery deployment options, and integration technologies.
- Solid understanding of asset management middle and back-office. workflow and operations would be useful.
- Strong IT/technical skills (MS Windows, Unix, Linux, MS SQL, MS IIS, integration tools, reporting tools, scheduling, networks and databases).
- Working knowledge of Information Security and Data Privacy policies and regulations.
- Analytic & Strategic Thinking - can demonstrate qualitative insightfulness, understanding of the strategic context of issues, ability to evaluate several options available and employ data-based decision making.
- Initiative, Drive & Creative Problem Solving - results in orientation, ability to use diverse experience to get results, can-do attitude, and resourcefulness. Sets goals and objectives and manages them. You Can prepare an action plan to drive projects to closure and focus on high-priority items. Proactively engages in the sales cycle and is timely with follow-up items from sales events.

- Superb communication skills - you can share information clearly and consistently in both verbal and written format. You are an active listener and can translate customers’ needs and respond with relevant information/presentations, you can synthesise diverse and disparate pains and link them to consequences.
- Strong objection handling skills - ability to understand prospect objections and/or product challenges and can respond effectively to them. Confirms that the objection has been overcome.
