Team Leader Young Care Leavers

Pier 2 Pier has an exciting opportunity to recruit a team leader overseeing a semi-independent service for young care leavers in Worthing.
The 24/7 service supports young people aged 16-19 years who display emotional, and behavioural difficulties as they transition from leaving care to living within the community in their own supported accommodation. The home has been purpose-built to a high standard containing four individual studio flats, an office, and a training room.
This is an exciting time to join a leading and growing organisation that aims to provide a positive experience for young people with a variety of support needs to develop independence and individuality as they grow in confidence and fulfil their true potential.
As the team leader, with support from the service manager, you will oversee the daily running of the service, supporting the young people in their everyday activities throughout their journey to independence, as well as managing and encouraging a small team of support workers.
The role will require you to have previous experience supervising staff or leading a service as well as experience working with children or young care leavers.
- Monday-Friday 0900-1700 with a rostered-on call service
- Salary up to £28,500 depending on experience
- Close to public transport
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
