- To assist the Purchasing and Logistics Manager to proactively manage the purchasing, stores and goods in operation for all deliveries, ensuring all stakeholders (including tenants and 3rd parties) deliveries are received in accordance with agreed parameters
- To deputise in the absence of the Purchasing and Logistics Manager
- To assist in the management of deliveries queues and prioritise the supply chain for all users of the loading dock
- To maintain a secure environment
- To manage and participate in the daily operating of the Loading Bay and stores in order to ensure correct and timely deliveries of all items, leading by example.
- To assist in leading and developing the team to ensure checking of deliveries in accordance with Marriott standard procedures is carried out consistently.
- To communicate clearly and effectively to all users of the loading dock and stores the required standards and expectations.
- To ensure adherence to all relevant Health & Safety procedures and appropriate documentation maintained.
- Liaison manager for Capcon auditors monthly with responsibility for stock counting monthly.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a goods receiving and/or stock management environment preferred
- Ability to work in a high volume manual handling environment
- Awareness of current Health & Safety legislation
- Previous supervisory experience preferred but not essential

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) towards internal & external customers
- Hands on team player
- Ability to work on own initiative, flexible, can do attitude
- Good understanding of stock management, particularly beverage stock preferred
- Ability to work proactively in a very busy environment
- Knowledge & appreciation of food and beverage products desirable
- Ability to work under pressure, resolving conflict in a diplomatic and calm manner, seeking win win solutions
