Purchasing & Logistics Administrator required for Cam based Engineering company paying c£29,000 37.5 hours pw, 25 days holiday + stats. GL11 area of Cam. Our client provides high tech engineering solutions to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Automotive, Aerospace and Research & Development. Our client has a workforce of 11, the majority of whom have been with the business since it started in 2006. As this is a small workforce you are more than just a number and your role will be crucial in supporting the business to continue to grow. Working closely with the senior management team your role as Purchasing & Logistics Administrator will involve the following: - purchasing of all materials - creating purchasing BOM's to ensure accurate materials costs - working from engineering drawings to establish what materials are required and ensuring they are in stock - booking in deliveries - checking invoices prior to sending to accounts for payment - creating correct shipping paperwork - arranging deliveries etc. via couriers - ensuring that stock levels are maintained at agreed levels As Purchasing & Logistics Administrator for our client you will be fully supported by the senior management team but you will need to have the following: - be familiar with using MS Office, particularly Excel - good telephone manner - previous experience of working in an office environment, preferably manufacturing/engineering - ability to work on your own initiative once trained Working hours Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 5.00 Friday 8.30 to 2.00 Travail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
