Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join a Top 40 Accountancy Practice in Norwich. The firm are growing their team and are offering a fully flexible approach to working along with an offering salary of £25,000 - £30,000(dependent on experience).

This role would be great for somebody who has had previous experience in the preparation of payrolls and is keen to further their development and become part of a fantastic and busy payroll bureau.

**What you will do**:

- Take on a portfolio of client payrolls, varying in size, complexity and frequency and take full responsibility for being the day to day contact for your client base
- Develop good relationships with clients
- Liaise with clients and HMRC with any queries, taking full control of all regulatory submissions and deadlines
- Prepare payrolls from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met
- Completes regular technical reading to ensure knowledge is up to date and prepared for any new legislative or environmental changes

**What you will need**:

- Maths and English Language GCSE or equivalent
- Previous payroll experience
- Good communication skills
- The ability to organise workload
- Be keen to progress
- Works well as part of a team and independently
