A rare opportunity for a **Principal Medical Writer** to join a close-knit, award winning team
**The agency**
They are a mid sized team of around 70, based in Manchester. They pride themselves on finding the humanity in the data and deliver this in a way so that it can reach a multitude of audiences. They work across a real mix of therapy areas, including diebetes,obesity, altzheimers, stem cell therapy, heart failure, parkinsons, inflammation and prostate
- they also do a lot of work in medical affairs and immunology. They tackle publications from a creative viewpoint and are flexible in letting people work acrossmultiple accounts or focus soley on one. They are also completely happy for you to work remotely, as this is something they had instated pre-pandemic.
**Principal medical writer**
Within this position you will hold a really exciting mix of responsibilities. They are looking for someone who is eager to be hands on not only with the writing but also leading accounts and training the more junior members of the team.
A quick overview of the role:
- Writing and managing the delivery of scientific content for a range of activities to meet client needs, standards and timelines.
- Manage projects efficiently and effectively.
- Build strong relationships with clients and act as a point of contact for day to day enquiries.
- Mentor more junior members of the team.
- Contribute to strategy e.g. attend client meetings and contribute ideas.
- Travel to meetings and conferences
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 as well as the opportunity to work closely with some amazingly talented colleagues on some sought after accounts.
