Principal Medical Writer

The Opportunity
As a
Principal Medical Writer
, you'll be a scientific lead across main accounts, driving excellence in content and strategy. You'll develop high-quality, scientifically accurate materials across a range of formats — from publications and congress materials to medical education, digital content, and strategic communication plans.

You'll help shape the scientific narrative, mentor writers, and build trusted relationships with clients and opinion leaders. This is your opportunity to make a genuine impact — influencing how science connects with healthcare professionals and patients.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the delivery of scientifically engaging, and compliant medical communications across therapy areas.
  • Partner with clients to provide strategic insight and scientific consultancy, contributing to communication planning and scientific storytelling.
  • Review and quality-check content from the writing team, ensuring scientific accuracy and consistency with brand and compliance standards.
  • Mentor writers at all levels, supporting professional growth and skill development.
  • Contribute to business development plans, including proposal writing, pitch participation, and strategic input on new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with client services, editorial, creative, and digital teams to create integrated, impactful solutions.

About You

  • Minimum, degree in a life science discipline.
  • Experienced in medical communications, with expertise in content strategy and client engagement.
  • Exceptional scientific writing skills, with a talent for simplifying complex science without losing depth or accuracy.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to inspire confidence in clients and colleagues alike.
