**Principal Medical Writer (Medical Communications)**

**Principal Medical Writer**

As Principal Medical Writer, your contributions will involve:

- Providing strategic direction and leading and managing tactical delivery of scientific content for a range of medical communications that meet client needs, internal quality standards and timelines
- Reviewing scientific content for a range of medical communications according to client needs, internal quality standards and agreed specifications, budgets and timeframes
- Contribute to revenue targets by ensuring that projects are progressed according to schedules.
- Record and monitor actual time spent on projects against budgeted time and alert account teams to any developments that may impact on budgets.
- In conjunction with the Senior Scientific Team Leader(s) and/or Scientific Services Director(s), help develop writers within an account team to achieve their full potential

**Principal Medical Writer Lead Essential Experience**
- Life science degree
- Writing experience in a communications agency or the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare industries.
- Experience managing a team
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Medical Writing
