**Overview**
We’re looking for friendly, reliable Front of House team members to join us for the summer season. Main shifts would be 5pm till 11pm and occasional split shift.

We’re a beautiful country pub serving fresh, seasonal food, with a strong local following and a welcoming team. Our garden and events room occasionally host live music and community events, making us a lively and enjoyable place to work.

As this is a short-term role, **previous experience in a pub or restaurant is highly beneficial** - there’s limited time for training, so we’re looking for people who can hit the ground running.

We’re especially keen to hear from applicants **who don’t have holidays booked in August**, as we’ll be covering staff leave and expecting a busy summer.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.
- Manage phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date records in our systems.
- Utilise Google Suite for various administrative functions, including scheduling and document management.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, typing, and general office support as required.
- Handle financial transactions using QuickBooks or similar software, ensuring accuracy in all dealings.
- Maintain an organised front desk area, ensuring all materials are readily available for staff and guests.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations across departments.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a professional demeanour.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: £11.44-£12.95 per hour
