Reporting to the Head of HR, this is an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly HR team providing support to a workforce of colleagues across the UK.
Based in Norwich on a hybrid-working basis, the HR Advisor role will be best suited to someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable working across a range of tasks and is used to working flexibly and managing their workload priorities based on business needs.Colleague experience is at the heart of everything our client does, so being a confident communicator who enjoys engaging with colleagues across all levels of the business to collaborate and add value to their working lives will be highly beneficial.
**Your day to day as an HR Advisor will include**:

- Manage employee relations activity, providing clear, fair, and consistent advice to managers on all people related matters, in line with policy and procedure, including attending and supporting at meetings and offering constructive feedback and advice.
- Guide and assist colleagues at every level of the business with all aspects of their employment, including advice on policies, procedures, flexible working arrangements, their benefits, remuneration, annual leave, sick pay, terms and conditions and more.
- Support the delivery of specific HR interventions, such as colleague engagement activities and initiatives.
- Support internal communication, social media and engagement activity, recognising colleague and business achievements, promoting local and national awareness days and other CSR activity aligned to the values of the business.
- Review and update HR policies, processes, and systems in line with legislative changes, business transformation and change, and best practice.
- Supporting hiring managers with recruitment, including interview skills and techniques, adverts and job descriptions and liaising with recruitment partners to support a smooth recruitment process.

**Who are we looking for?**:

- Previous experience working at HR Advisor level in a generalist HR environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt one’s style and approach to suit their audience.
- Friendly and approachable, with a personable and colleague centric approach to work.
- Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the business
- Proactive, problem-solving attitude towards work.
- Ability to effectively manage competing stakeholder interests, priorities and expectations.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook in order to produce reports, letters and documents.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified
