**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our team, based in the heart of Norwich. This role is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work in partnership with the Firm's Team Leaders.

Our HR Advisors partner with team leaders and uses that partnership to help drive success in those teams. The role has your normal HR activities but also has elements of Learning & Development.

Your focus will be to deliver a proactive and flexible HR (and L&D) service by providing commercially focused and relevant guidance and support to all employees, whilst driving best practice and promoting Spire Values.

The roles core responsibilities include:
HR Ops
- Manage key employee lifecycle processes for the role's partner teams; onboarding, ensuring probation process is followed, assisting/advising team leaders with casework and end of employment activities.
- Managing recruitment activities for partner teams, from creating adverts, scheduling interviews, making offers and drafting contracts.
- Updating the payroll schedule with changes for your partner teams.

L&D
- To be the primary contact and administrator in relation to course bookings for CPD requirements in relation to staff.
- Undertake the required administration to support the professional training programme and learning interventions.
- Ensure our work placement (work experience) programme is well run and has good feedback.

Whilst this role is based at our Norwich office, there will be regular travel out to our market town offices for catch ups with team leaders and for some events.

We work with Microsoft systems so good working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
The ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task and manage own workload.
Proactive and creative approach to problem solving.
Be diligent, conscientious and think about the “what if” of actions.
Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to draft own correspondence.
A strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
