**Internal Sales Assistant**

Internal Sales Assistant required for a Doncaster based business, near the city centre. Due to internal progression, my client is looking for a driven individual to work as Internal Sales Assistant and to work as part of a team of 5. The Internal Sales Assistantwill work with existing and new clients to develop business, process orders and work with internal departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some sales experience who is wanting to develop their skills further and to work for a businesswith progression opportunities.

As Internal Sales Assistant you will be required to:

- Be the first line of enquiry for all internal sales processes and enquiries
- Promote good internal sales relationships within the company
- Develop and coordinate any new business opportunities
- Collect competitive information for market awareness and keep customer information up to date
- Negotiating suitable pricing and maintenance and supply of price lists to new and existing customers
- Contribute towards a continuous improvement culture within the sales team
- Ensuring security and maintaining confidentiality
- Other duties as deemed necessary both now and in the future to meet business needs

The Internal Sales Assistant position requires:

- Excellent product knowledge (full training given)
- Working in a busy environment with tasks that require a short turnaround
- Excellent listening skills.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work within tight deadlines and to manage a number of activities at any one time
- Ability to re-prioritise work with minimum warning
- Attention to detail
- SAP experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- The ability to see the customers perspective
- The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters as necessary
- The ability to work in a close knit team

The Internal Sales Assistant position offers a basic salary plus a quarterly bonus, 22 days holiday + stats (to increase 1 day per year up to 25 days), pension, free on site parking, excellent training, 38.75 hour working week from Monday to Friday, theopportunity to progress within a sales team.
