Working under the direction of the Office Manager, the post holder will support functions and play an essential role across the business providing support and assistance across all aspects of the company’s activities to ensure Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental management requirements are maintained.

**Main Duties**:

- Working under the direction of the Office Manager or their nominee to carry out all duties responsibly and safely in accordance with the current Integrated Management System in close co-operation with colleagues and the STEQ Manager. Be responsible for ensuring your own awareness of the company Health & Safety and Environmental policies
- Collect, collate, scan, to relevant business streams all contractual /operational documentation received into the company in respect of projects under the control of your business stream, received, post, documents from site, suppliers, customers, direct to the appropriate department etc.
- Create purchase orders for smooth operation of central administrative function.
- To carry out switchboard/reception operation cover in accordance with the Company administrative procedures including the processing of Incoming and Outgoing mail,
- To provide a warm friendly, professional, courteous welcome to all the Company’s callers (suppliers, customers and other visitors, deliveries) both in person and on the telephone. Keep the reception area tidy and safe for visitors
- It is essential to present a smart appearance and a professional approach to all tasks

The role will include central administration functions supporting and including the following

Facilities management

Company Fleet and Daily Hire

Supporting the STEQ & Marketing Teams with ad hoc admin requests
- To work as part of a team, communicating effectively with others, and representing the company professionally at all times.
- To carry out such other duties as reasonably instructed by the Office Manager.

**Person Specification**:

- Good Telephone Manner
- Understanding of health and safety
- Friendly and approachable while professional.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Will be organised and calm under pressure.
- Proactive, positive, and flexible to the needs of the business and the role.
- Ability to prioritise own work to meet deadlines and achieve targets in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates a solid one team approach and “can do” attitude.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 18 Months - 2 Years’ experience in a receptionist / Customer Service environment
- GCSE’s (Grades 4-9 / A* - C) or Equivalent in English and Maths
- Experienced using Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word
