Jackson Hogg are currently looking to recruit an HR Advisor for an innovative, market leading manufacturing business who are going through a strong period of growth.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for site policy and employee engagement with direct support for the leadership team. This is a new standalone role that has good development opportunities and scope for progression.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**
- Evaluating and updating job descriptions, employment contracts, and employee records
- Answering all human resources queries posed by management and employees.
- Advising managers on strategies for recruitment, selection, and interview evaluation procedures.
- Assisting with the development of recruitment campaigns.
- Participating in the appointment process for potential employees.
- Monitoring recruitment metrics such as retention rates and staff turnover.
- Discussing terms and conditions of employment and benefits with staff members.
- Supporting leadership with employee reviews when required.
- Managing site attendance alongside the leadership team. Owning the attendance KPI for the site.
- Updating HR policies in line with current legislation and informing staff about changes.
- Developing a strategy of positive business culture striving for performance excellence with strong site engagement levels and high employee retention rate.

**Required Qualifications / Skills**:

- CIPD level 5 qualification would be desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at different levels, including senior staff members.
- Proven leadership ability.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Working knowledge of HR systems and software.
- The ability to research, analyse, and make logical decisions within a given timeframe.
- Updated knowledge of recruitment strategies and employment legislation.
- Excellent writing ability to present clear and equitable company policies.
- The ability to develop trusting relationships with relevant stakeholders.

**Desired Qualifications / Skills**:

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources would be desirable
- NEBOSH / IOSH training and/or be able to demonstrate through previous experience, a positive attitude towards safety

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
