**Drivers Mate - ATM Field Service Technician**

**Approx. £410 per week**

**Fri - Mon 8am-6pm**

We have an opportunity starting imminently for individuals to accompany ATM Field Service Technicians as their Security Companion.

This is a full-time role for an initial 6 months with the possibility of extension beyond this.

The working week will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday from 8am - 6pm

Successful applicants will be required to work alongside the technicians, traveling with them to various site locations and their role will primarily be to act as the technician’s eyes and ears while they are working on the ATM’s.

**About the role - You Must**:

- Have a mobile/Cell phone and be equipped with an attack alert device/app
- Have a flashlight for after dark calls
- Alert the Engineer immediately to potential risks to ensure the Engineer remains away from the location or to leave site if the risk is identified after arrival.
- Notify the police of any suspicious activity and allow them to investigate.

**You will be required to**:

- Meet the engineer away from site
- Check exterior and interior of site
- When safe, signal to engineer to approach the site
- Meet engineer at vehicle and walk together to work area
- Establish protected area and observe activities within range of site to detect and forewarn engineer about developing problem situation
- Verbally, in a calm and non-confrontational manner, prevent third parties from entering into the protected zone. Do not attempt to use force or engage in verbal confrontations. If any third-party refuses to co-operate, suggest engineer suspend the call.
- When work complete, confirm it is safe for engineer to exit and walk with the engineer to vehicle
- Return to meeting place

**About you**:

- The main requirement for this role, is that you are able to follow procedure and protocol
- Flexibility and an open-minded approach to learning new skills
- A smart appearance and a professional attitude are essential
- Strong and clear communication skills are also a must.
- A DBS, valid and clear within the last 3 months or the ability to achieve a new one is essential
