Patrol Officer

As a Patrol Officer your role will involve carrying out foot patrols & Building Checks of the developments owned and operated by the Emerson Group. You will be based at either a Reception area or in a Security Lodge. Your role will involve deterring crime and providing an appropriate response to Anti-Social Behavior. Your duties will include;
To conduct foot patrols of the development, responding to any occurrences or incidents.
To Operate or Monitor the CCTV system.
To maintain all security related documentation, using a PC based reporting system.
To Act as a Fire Marshal, ensuring emergency exits are free from an obstruction inside and out at all times. (Check fire extinguishers are in the right position and not damaged. Checking fire doors are in good working order weekly. Checking there is appropriate signage for emergency exits and fire extinguishers. Break glass call points are visible and have signs along with being properly fixed to the walls. Checking combustible materials are stored away from heat sources. Smoking areas regularly cleaned and ashtrays emptied)
To attend any fire alarm activations, investigate the source of the alarm, silence & reset the Fire Alarm Panel, once the alarm has been declared a False activation.
To take a pro-active role in the prevention of crime.
To provide a response to any Anti-Social Behavior.
To Liaise with tenants and assist with any enquiries
To report any property defects to the Emerson Response Centre & support the facilities department.
To be aware of the Emerson Groups commitment to customer service
Act as a representative of the Emerson Group as a whole
