**Head of Finance | Great Dunmow | 40 hours a week | £50,000-£60,000 per year, negotiable depending on experience**

Project Solver Ltd is a well-established and growing Electrical compliance company based in Essex. You will be responsible for playing a key role in growing business in the UK. To succeed in this role, you will be a strong leader and have demonstrated team-buildingand problem-solving skills.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Significant experience in Accountancy in a corporate environment
- Appropriate accounting qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Good knowledge of Sage accounting software

**What will your role as a Head of Finance look like?**
- To maintain accurate and up to date accounts, perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities
- Day to day accounts duties - Sales ledger & Purchase ledger
- To prepare monthly staff salaries (Moneysoft Payroll), deal with Inland Revenue returns
- To ensure pension payments are correct and paid
- Responsible for quarterly statutory returns (VAT)
- Analyse and report on financial status including variances, and communicate financial results to management
- Budget preparation and analysis
- Ensure compliance with current legislation
- Banking responsibilities - Payments, Receipts, Reconciliations
- Advanced computer skills - Sage
- Excellent organisational, problem solving, project management and communication skills
- Tax planning, producing business plans and business strategies
- Control cash flow
- Interpret and communicate financial information to non-financial Managers
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance
