Here at P&O Ferries we are seeking a Seasonal Customer Operations Agent to join our team here in Dover on a fixed term basis **.**

This is an opportunity to work as part of the Port Operations team helping to ensure that we process freight and passenger traffic, providing a high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities and duties:

- To process freight and passenger vehicles, foot passengers and groups, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
- To collate and check all documentation in line with statutory authority requirement.
- To process cash transactions, receiving payment by cash and credit/debit card. To account for all sales transactions, cash floats and reconciliations.
- To assist with the loading and unloading of Company vessels including the direction of traffic.
- Customer service and customer experience skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills

Desirable:

- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge of port / ferry operations

Location - Dover, this role operates 24/7 working days, nights and weekends.
