**Job Title**: Customs Clearance Operative

**Location**: Dover

**Salary**: £24k - £28k DOE + bonus

**Hours**:Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm, with the possibility of this changing to 7am-3:30pm/11.30am-8pm, call-out Monday to Friday with Saturday work as part of regular Rota (1 in 8).

**Holiday entitlement**:20 days + Bank holidays

**As aCustomer Clearance Operative your duties would be**:

- Processing Import/Export customs declarations.
- Dealing with general enquiries from internal & external sources concerning all areas relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements.
- Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedures.

**Skills required**:

- Experience in Customs formalities, however experience in a Logistics environment will also be considered.
- Excellent organisational skills and be able to respond quickly and effectively to the business needs.
