It provides education from two-year-olds to the end of year 6. Sythwood celebrates children and staff from a range of ethnicities and cultures. Around 60% of children learn English as an Additional Language. Sythwood is a truly inclusive school. The number of children with additional needs is higher than average. The significant areas of needs are: Moderate Learning Difficulty, Speech, Language and Communication and Vision Impairment. The school has a Specialist Centre for children with Vision Impairment.
