Finance Administrator

The role of financial clerk involves overseeing accounts and making sure effective cost control and recovery as well as compliance with systems. Your responsibilities will include; the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of accounting and management information systems, completion of monthly management accounts and invoicing. You will be working with the Financial Director and Financial Control Supervisor to support the ongoing growth of our business across multiple departments nationwide.
While you’ll be part of a team of accounts/support staff to help carry out administrative tasks, you’ll be ensuring you assist in the smooth running of the company’s financial department and your daily to-do list will feature some or all of the following:
Analysis of contract costings
Sales invoicing
Reporting to management on loss making contracts
Monitoring performance
Credit Control analysis
Auditing of client accounts
Engineers Timesheets
Cost Control
You must be able to demonstrate good commercial and financial acumen, working as part of a team.
You will have experience of working within a B2B service led sector.
A track record of working with operations is desirable but not essential.
Job requires GCSE grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent.
AAT qualifications desirable but not essential.
