Hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch break)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Finance Administrator
to join a small, friendly finance team. This role is ideal for someone with previous administration or finance administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a finance environment.

The position will predominantly focus on
billing and invoicing
tasks, supporting the smooth running of finance operations. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise and send invoices for completed engineer jobs using Joblogic, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Cross-check invoices against job sheets, purchase orders (POs) and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with the Helpdesk and Contracts Managers to chase any missing or unclear information.
  • Assist with general finance administration as required, including maintaining accurate records and data entry.
  • Support the Finance team in ensuring billing and reporting deadlines are met.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and accuracy.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in an administrative or finance administration role (essential).
  • Strong numerical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise across departments.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook).
  • A positive attitude and keenness to learn and develop within a finance function.
