**IT Skills Coach**
**Location: Home Based**
Working within the QA Degree Apprenticeship team, you will be coaching and mentoring students to successfully complete their Degree Apprenticeship programme.- Working in collaboration with QA, Induction Partners, Administrators and Academic Tutors to ensure that data management is of a high standard and that all students are being given sufficient, valuable & quality support throughout their learner journey.- Interaction with students will primarily be through WebEx, unless client sites suggest otherwise. This will be a remote/home based role with some travel requirements.**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage, with some guidance, a targeted number of learners throughout their learning journey-
- Ensure learners have clear objectives termly to support their timely progression.- Provide coaching via the appropriate methods to include, Face 2 Face, Virtual, Scheduled, on demand and flexible to best support individual learner needs- Support learners through their learning journey to successful completion of their EPA- Observe, review and provide feedback on evidence produced by learners throughout their Apprenticeship, to support completion of Work Based modules, EPA and meet the needs of the Awarding Organisation.- Identify ongoing learners who are at risk of failing to meet the requirements of Gateway and EPA.**Your Skills/ Experience**
- Maters degrees
- Industry experience in any one of the following
- Cyber Security, Data & Analytics, Software Engineer, Enterprise Architect, Dev Ops and IT Ops Management.
- Demonstrable evidence of high level of experience in coaching/mentoring
- Relevant occupational competency & experience to degree that you support
- Experience of apprenticeships, coaching and worked in IT in industry.**A little more about QA**:
