As an Apprentice Accounts Assistant in our Divisional team based at our Volkswagen Dealership in Birmingham you’ll have the opportunity to shine with the support of the leadership team.

Job Title: Apprentice Accounts Assistant

Location: Johnsons Volkswagen, Birmingham

Employment Type: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and data entry
- Prepare financial reports, invoices, and statements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial processes
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies

**Requirements**:

- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and develop accounting knowledge and skills
