As a HR Assistant you will provide generalist support across key HR areas including Recruitment, Payroll, Managing the HR Inbox, and responding to HR related queries.

**Client Details**

Page Personnel have partnered with a waste-to-energy organisation based in Wakefield, who are looking for a HR Assistant to join them on a full time basis, for a 6 months FTC.

**Description**

The successful HR Assistant will be responsible for:

- Payroll administration - monthly processing of 4 payrolls working alongside a third-party payroll provider
- Recruitment support - CV reviewing for volume roles, booking interviews and then drafting offer letters
- Drafting documentation - promotion letter, salary changes, generic letters as required across all four sites
- Maintaining the Core HR System
- Managing references, DBS checks and Medical requests for all new starters, and setting up Learning and Development profiles
- Producing appropriate reports as required - Payroll, new starters, leavers and update on probationary review dates

**Profile**

The successful HR Assistant will have:

- Previous HR experience would be advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritise workload and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

**Job Offer**

Full time + 6 months FTC + Hybrid Working + Paying up to £30k dependent on experience.

There will be occasional travel to London and across different sites, but this will be planned in advance. The benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 6% employer pension contribution / 5% employee pension contribution, 4 x Life Assurance andother company benefits.
