We are working with a Chartered Surveyor and Architectural Consultancy based in Brighton who are looking to take on a Lead Architectural Technologist to join their multi-disciplinary team
Founded in the early 2000s with 3 offices in the UK, the practice and the team are recognised as residential architecture experts while also providing a wide range of surveying, consultancy and architectural services across most of the Sussex areas.
As a result of a strong pipeline and new work being won, they are looking for new staff to join their Architecture team. Here, you will be gaining exposure to a plethora of residential architecture - extensions and loft conversions, refurbishments and restorations,listed buildings and larger-scale residential projects.
Although recognised as a residential-based practice, they also design, and project manage commercial refurbishments
As a Lead Architectural Technologist, you will be working closely with the Director of the Brighton office while also leading projects. You will work collaboratively with the close-knit team of 12 - while the practice is multidisciplinary, you will gain exposureand support from Architects, Technologists and other members of staff.
You will be expected to have a full understanding of the technical design of the RIBA stages along with UK Building Regulations, as well as to be able to hit the ground running
Lead Architectural Technologist - Brighton:
- Residential sector (some commercial work too)
- Lead projects
- AutoCAD & Revit experience.
- Support and mentorship to become a Chartered Architectural Technologist (if not already)
- Exposure to the right stages to progress with your career.
- Take part in site visits and measured surveys.
- Client meetings.
- Written and verbal communication.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Technical ability - key requirement
Initially, this role will begin as a 12-month contract but will have the prospect of becoming full-time.
**Salary**: £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
