**About your new role**: **Primary objectives** - Provide new business development exec support to Partners and New Business Managers to drive profitable growth and revenue generation in line with the overall financial objectives of the firm. - Provide practical assistance to the Partners, so key business development opportunities with targets can be exploited - Provide support to New Business Managers and Partners across the firm to contribute to the overall financial objectives of the firm. **Key responsibilities** - Support the New Business Managers to implement and manage agreed new business development initiatives, for example: - Support NBMs to research and identify targets for new clients - Support NBMs and CRPs to deliver actionable key client plans - Update new business pipelines - Work closely with the relevant NBM on specific projects and on-going activity - Supporting the NBMs and Head of Sales Enablement in the delivery of sales coaching and training - Assisting with presentations and formatting documents where required - Work closely with the Marketing team using client and market insights to input into the development of campaigns - Capture and document learnings from new business activities and initiatives and ensure share across New Business team, Marketing team and segments to enhance future activities. - Auditing and maintenance of SOPs within the New Business team - Support with standard monthly tasks on reporting, MI, and budgets This list is not intended to be exhaustive and you will be expected to perform other duties and have other responsibilities that fall within the wider remit of the role. **About You**: **Key Skills & Experience** - Strong analytical skills.Commercially aware and astute. - A self-starter, who can work on own initiative and is proactive in developing ideas and solutions. - Project and time management skills plus organisational skills. - Confident, assertive and resilient. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). - Flexible - the role will be a mix of internal support to Partners and client facing activity so travel across Weightmans offices and to client offices will be required. **Why work for us**: Weightmans is a Top 45 law firm with offices throughout the UK.
