**3 Posts Available: 1 Open-Ended Contract - Permanent (School of History, Classics & Archaeology), 1 Fixed term for 12 months (CAHSS College Office), 1 Fixed term for 6 months (CAHSS Finance)
We are looking for finance professionals to deliver an outstanding finance business partnering service to our stakeholders. Finance Business Partners will work closely with senior management teams providing strategic insight, analysis and advice to deliver sustainable financial performance aligned with the University’s 2030 Strategy.

**The Opportunity**:

- To support the School senior management team by providing:

- financial analysis and management information for both strategic and operational purposes,
- financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- risk analysis
- business plan development and appraisal
- To support understanding of financial policy and procedure by liaising with staff across the school.
- To line manage the school finance partnering team (where relevant)

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Be a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant, preferably with a degree or HND in a relevant discipline, and substantial relevant experience
- This should reflect some sort of team leadership or management
- Experience of managing projects and budgets.
- Experience of providing insightful analysis and advice to stakeholders.
- Proven written and oral communication skills and ability to explain finance concepts and implications of financial decisions on stakeholders.
- Superb inter-personal and time-management skills and ability to influence others.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively to manage activities and projects.
