**The role**

Our **Leisure Club Assistants**support in providing a successful Health Fitness offering to members and guests, promoting and supporting behavioural change in achieving fitness goals and the benefits of healthy living.**The role reports directly to the Leisure Club Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in Lancaster

Leisure Club Assistant responsibilities include:

- Ensuring **the club is always presented in the appropriate condition** ensuring the correct daily, weekly and monthly checks are being completed.
- Achieving **new member sales**, renewals and net membership growth metrics.
- Supporting the Club Management Team in relation to **local marketing initiatives** to drive New Member Sales, Membership Headcount and the Clubs position in the community.
- Always demonstrating a **pro-active approach to Health Safety** and support the Club Management Team relating to the Sustainable Safety Group (SSG) audit.
- Undertaking **cash handling** duties and submitting to hotel finance.

**What you’ll bring to the team**

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to demonstrate their skills and develop their career - someone who has some experience in the leisure/fitness/spa wellness industry, but this is not essential.
- First Aid at Work Qualification
- CIMSPA fitness professional qualification of Level 2 or above
- Health Fitness / Leisure Industry Qualification of Level 3 or above
