LOCATION: Thurnham, Lancaster, LA2 0DT

HOURS: 40 per week

SALARY: £10.42 - £10.70 per hour

Reporting to the Leisure Centre Supervisor_,_ the main job duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Provide a safe and enjoyable leisure environment for our residents and guests
- Ensure company policies and Health & Safety guidelines are understood and adhered to at all times by all users and employees in the Leisure Centre
- Check and monitor standards of cleanliness and rectify where necessary
- Ad hoc administration duties
- Be familiar with and able to advise guests on the safe usage of gym equipment
- Man the Leisure Centre Reception desk

**Qualifications**_**, **_**skills and experience required to fulfil the role include**:

- Previous experience in a Leisure Centre environment is advantageous
- Good / strong swimmer
- The ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Have a ‘can do’ and positive approach
