This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, international company as a Security Operations Analyst, where you will be upholding IT security procedures on a group level, as well as communicating with stakeholders and international teams across multiplecontinents. Initially you will be in their office in central Birmingham, getting to know your peers and eventually transferring to a flexible hybrid model with preparation to be in the office when needed, roughly once a week.
**The Role**
A willingness to learn and expand your experiences is critical to providing great security analysis, particularly understanding the significant risk and responsibility of your role and the processes you are interacting with. Ensuring that the highest standardis met in your work by being inquisitive and thorough will ensure you provide the best service to the projects you interact with.
**The Experience**
We are looking for a Security Operations Analyst with 2+ years' experience in security analysis, supported with a certification in IT Security and an understanding of various Security and Legal Policies/Frameworks. Examples of certifications and frameworksthat would be necessary to this position includes:

- CISA, CISM, CompTIA Security+ and equivalent certifications.
- NIST Cyber Security, ISO27001, PCI DSS and GDPR frameworks.
Technical IT knowledge is required in both their general usage and from a security perspective, including but not limited to:

- Operating Systems
- Networks
- Databases
- Servers (Application, Web, and Cloud)
